This is an interesting old puzzle my Jumbo. The complete title of the painting is The Daily Market on the Groenmarkt with the St. Jacobskerk in the back, The Hague, by Joseph Bles. The title in the box is simply The Hague, Netherlands – Square, and there is no reference to the artist. However, the signature appears on the bottom right corner of the painting.
The Hague has several beautiful and historic squares. The most important one was the Grote Markt or Main Square.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1000 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition, except for 2 pieces with a knob peeled off, as you can see in the photographs. The box is in good condition, with shelf wear and two tears on the lid.
