4000, MB, The Census at Bethlehem, Bruegel

MB manufactured this extraordinary puzzle in 1981, so it has been out of catalog for more than 40 years now. The title is The Census at Bethlehem, and the painter is Pieter Bruegel the Elder, one of the favorite artists among jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts.

The puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The lid of the box has some damage, as you can see in the photographs.

This is the largest version of this puzzle, but there are smaller editions available by other brands. An example is the 1000 piece edition by Puzzelman.
