Waddingtons manufactured this exceptional puzzle in 1991. The title in the box is Feast Day, and it says the artist is Pieter Bruegel the Elder. However, the real title of the painting is The Kermesse of Saint George, and the painter is Pieter Brueghel the Younger. (Thank you very much, Lenny, for providing this information).
The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. The outer seal is in pretty bad condition, with patches and tape to prevent complete breakage. The inner bag is intact, as it left the factory. Box in very good condition. You can see all this in the pictures.
Pieter Bruegel is a very popular artist among puzzle enthusiasts, and there are a lot of puzzles with his paintings. One example is the 4000 piece version of Children’s Games, which Nathan produced in 1997.
