This is one of the finest map puzzles by Educa. The title is Celestial Planisphere, by the cartographer Andreas Cellarius. It is part of his Harmonia Macrocosmica star atlas. Educa produced this version in 1996, but there is an earlier version from 1990 which the striped box.
This puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in good condition, but it has some wear and several bumps that have perforated the cardboard.
Pomegranate produced a 1000 piece version of this map with the title Map of the Heavens.
