Description

Educa manufactured this interesting puzzle in the late 70’s. The title is simply Baviera, which is Spanish for Bavaria. The puzzle belongs to the series Castillos de Europa (Castles of Europe), and it must be one of the oldest puzzles with a photograph of the ubiquitous Neuschwanstein Castle.

This is an interesting puzzle because it includes the logo of Educa, but also the logo of Ravensburger, as if they produced it in collaboration. This was not uncommon during the late 70’s and there are many puzzles with both logos in the box. The puzzle comes with a plastic container inside.

It is worth noting that they name it Puzzle Gigante (Giant Puzzle), when it is only 750 pieces.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (750 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in good condition, with some wear and three tears in one of the sides.

There are a lot of puzzles with photographs of Neuschwanstein. Fame produced a 3000 pieces version with the same title, although in English: Bavaria.
