Description

This is a very rare puzzle by F.X. Schmid. The title is Flemish Fair, by Pieter Brueghel the Younger. It is a copy of A Village Festival, by Pieter Bruegel the Elder.

The puzzle is INCOMPLETE (1019 pieces; 1 border piece missing). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

When I verified this puzzle, I got 1021 pieces, but I couldn’t detect a foreign piece even when I verified it twice (pieces facing up first and then pieces facing down). So, I put it together and discovered two duplicate pieces, as you can see in the photographs, which meant that the puzzle was incomplete. Luckily, the missing piece is on the border very close to a corner, and it will be barely noticeable with a decent hand-made replacement.
