Description

F.X. Schmid produced this beautiful and rare art puzzle in 1995. The title on the box is Sailboats in Saintes-Maries by Vincent van Gogh, but the full title of the painting is Fishing Boats on the Beach at Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. You can see the original artwork in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the picture of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in very good condition, with a small number of border pieces showing sub-optimal cutting. The box is also in very good condition, yet it has some dirt on the base, as you can see in the photographs

There are many puzzles with paintings by Vincent van Gogh. In 2003 Ravensburger published a 1000 piece version of Sower at Sunset.
