This is a nice puzzle by Jumbo. The title is A Country House at the Vecht, Holland, by Johan Herman Isings.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1008 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.
These illustrations by Isings were used in school textbooks. Here is the information that appeared for this particular one:
A Country House at the Vecht, Holland. Where the well-to-do Amsterdam families sought rest and relaxation.
The merchants of Amsterdam left the bustling city looking for homes, preferably with a garden, where they could simply relax.
This illustration shows the exterior of “Elsenburg” in Maarssen. The owner, Theodorus de Leeuw, was a wine dealer from Amsterdam who lived in France for many years. Although the Elsenburg estate was demolished in 1812, it serves as an excellent example of what the wealthier side of life looked like in the 18th century.
The other puzzle in the series is City Life in the Mid 19th Century.
