1000, Jumbo, Stormy Weather, Van de Velde

This is an old and very rare puzzle by Jumbo. The title on the box is Stormy Weather. The real title of the painting, however, is HMS Resolution in a Gale, by Willem van de Velde the Younger. You can admire the original painting at the National Maritime Museum, in Greenwich.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1000 pieces). The pieces are in very good condition, except for 1 piece with very minor damage in the middle, as you can see in the photograph. The box is in good condition, with some shelf wear and small tape tears.

In 1982 Educa published a 750 piece version of Naval Battle, also by Willem van de Velde the Younger.
