This is a very rare puzzle by Lais. The title is The Exchange of Princesses, by Peter Paul Rubens. It belongs to the Marie de’ Medici cycle, and you can admire the original painting at the Louvre Musuem, in Paris. The German title on the box is Gemäldezyklus für Maria de’ Medici, Austausch der Prinzessinnen.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1000 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition.
There are a lot of puzzles with paintings by Rubens. Flamenco published a 1000 piece version of Rubens and Helène Fourment. Another puzzle with a painting from the same cycle is the 1000 piece version of The Debarkation of Marie de Medici.
