Description

MB manufactured this beautiful puzzle in 1987. The title is Hoogeveen Story Plate. Although there is no reference to the author in the box, the artist is Cornelis Jetses.

The title needs an explanation. Cornelis Jetses draw a total of 22 school pictures or plates that teachers used for instructional purposes. 18 of them were related to business education and 2 of them related to history. The other two plates were story pictures used for learning narration, and  belonged to the municipality of Hoogeveen.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1008 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

MB has published several puzzles with paintings by Cornelis Jetses. One example is the 1000 piece version of In the Meadow.
