Schmidt manufactured this beautiful puzzle probably in the late 70s or early 80’s, as part of their Fine Art series. The German title in the box is Waldausgang, or Forest Exit, by Jan Brueghel the Elder. The real title of the artwork is Travelers on a Forest Road, and you can admire it at the Alte Pinakothek, in Munich.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1000 pieces). The pieces are in very good condition, with signs that the puzzle has been assembled before. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear and two tears on corners fixed with tape.
Schmidt also published a 750 piece version of this puzzle.
