Description

This is an interesting and rare puzzle by Carrefour. The title is The Adoration of the Shepherds, by the French painter Georges de La Tour. He painted mostly religious chiaroscuro scenes lit by candlelight. You can admire the original painting at the Louvre Museum, in Paris.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1488 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition, except for 1 piece with a knob peeled off, as you can see in the photographs. The box is in very good condition, with a partial tear on a corner.

Although the brand is Carrefour, the type of the pieces and the count indicate that the puzzle has been manufactured at the Clementoni factory. This puzzle and some other puzzles by Carrefour like Naïve Painting, have exactly 1488 pieces, which is the typical piece count of Clementoni puzzles.
