Description

Ricordi produced this excellent puzzle in 2006. The title is The Golgotha, or The Procession to Calvary, by Pieter Brueghel the Younger.

The name of the artist on the box is Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Interestingly, also in 2006, Ricordi published an identical version in a grey box, but in that case the name of the artist was Pieter Brueghel the Younger. It is often difficult to identify the artworks of these artists, since very often they completed several almost identical versions of the same themes, and Pieter Brueghel the Younger copied a lot of his father’s paintings. In this case, we have been able to confirm that this particular version was painted by Pieter Brueghel the Younger. You can admire it at Le Galleria degli Uffizi.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL.

There are many puzzles available with paintings by Pieter Brueghel the Younger. A very famous one is the 3000 piece version of the Payment of Tax at Bethlehem.
