MB manufactured this puzzle in 1975, as part of their Galerie series. The title we have chosen is The Departure of Louis XV, by Pierre-Denis Martin. The complete title is The Departure of Louis XV (1710-74) from Sainte-Chapelle after the ‘lit de justice’, which ended the reign of Louis XIV (1638-1715), and you can admire the original painting at the Chaâteau de Versailles. The French title on the box is simply Louis XV sortant du lit de Justice.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (2028 pieces). The pieces are in very good condition, except for one piece with very minor damage, as you can see in the photograph. The box is in good condition, with shelf wear and a tear on a corner.
