There are not many puzzles by the brand Scandecor, and this one is particularly hard to find. There is no title on the box. We decided to use the title Historic World Map, as the puzzle’s image is the historic world map Nova Totius Terrarum Sive Novi Orbis Tabula, by the Dutch engraver Willem Blaeu.

This puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition, but it has some discoloration on both top and sides of the lid.

Several manufacturers have produced beautiful map puzzles. Educa produced a 1000 piece version of the Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis also by Willem Blaeu, and Clementoni published a 1500 piece version of the Nova et Accuratissima Totius Terrarum Orbis Tabula, by Joan Blaeu, one of Willem Blaeu’s sons.
