247, Egel, The Naval Battle at Kijkduin

This is a very rare puzzle by Egel. The title is The Naval Battle at Kijkduin, August 21, 1673, by Willem van de Velde the Younger. You can admire the original painting at the Dutch National Maritime Museum, in Amsterdam.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the photograph with the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in good condition. The box is in very good condition, with some minor shelf wear.

Egel published some other puzzles in the same series. An example is the 247 piece version of is The Battle of Terheide, 10 August 1653, by Jan Abrahamsz Beerstraten.

In 1982 Educa published a 750 piece puzzle with another painting by Willem van de Velde the Younger.
