Description

Educa published this puzzle in 1994. The title is The Alcazar, Segovia, or Alcázar in Spanish. It is a picture with of one of the most important monuments in Spain. This castle-palace is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1985. The Alcázar was originally a fortress, but later served many other purposes. It was used as a royal palace, a state prison, a Royal Artillery College and a military academy since then. Today it is a museum and a military archives building. Sooner or later during their school years, all students in towns near Segovia, have a field trip to the Alcázar and visit all the other historic monuments in Segovia as well.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. The are some minor scuffs on corners and a small tear on the seal.

There is another very nice 1500 piece puzzle by Educa with an aerial photograph of the Alcázar and the city of Segovia in the background.
