Description

Clementoni manufactured this version of The Birth of Venus, by Sandro Botticelli. He is one of the most important artist of the Renaissance. Consequently, many of his works are available as puzzles.

This puzzle is INCOMPLETE (3995 pieces; 1 missing piece). The pieces are in excellent, like new, condition. The box is in fair condition, with damage on one side of the lid and the base, and a large tear on the base. The tears have been fixed with tape.

Together with The Birth of Venus, the most famous painting by Botticelli is probably the Allegory of Spring, which several puzzle brands have published. The most important one is the 6000 version by Schmidt, although there are smaller versions.

There is another 4000 piece version of The Birth of Venus by Educa, with a very distinctive burgundy frame. This is a wonderful puzzle that will provide hours of fun.
