Description

Ravensburger manufactured this rare puzzle in 1980. The title on the box is The “Kent” is Lost, but the original title of the painting is The Taking of the Kent by Robert Surcouf in the Gulf of Bengal, 7th October 1800. The artist is Ambroise Louis Garneray.  You can admire the original painting at the Musée d’Histoire de la Ville et du Pays Malouin, in Saint-Malo, France.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (500 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition.

In 1981 Nathan published a 1500 piece puzzle version of this painting.
