This is a 1000 version of The Birth of Venus, by Sandro Botticelli. He is one of the most important artist of the Renaissance. Consequently, many of his works ara available as puzzles. There is a 4000 piece version of this painting also by Clementoni.

Together with The Birth of Venus, the most famous painting by Botticelli is probably the Allegory of Spring, which several puzzle brands have published. Educa published a 2000 piece version in 1991.
