Description

Ricordi manufactured this magnificent puzzle in 2006. The title is Veduta di Venezia, or View of Venice in English, by the Italian Rococo artist Francesco Guardi. Guardi was the main painter, after Canaletto, of Venetian views in the 18th century.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There is a minor tear in the seal.

Nathan published a 1000 piece version of another work by Guardi, called The Departure of the Bucintoro. Several manufacturers published puzzle versions of views of Venice by Canaletto. An example is the 3000 piece version, by F.X. Schmid, of Canaletto’s The Reception of the Imperial Ambassador.
