This is an extraordinary puzzle by Piatnik. The title of the painting is Siege and Relief of the City of Vienna in September 1683. There is no reference to the artist on the box, but the author is Stephan Kessler. You can admire the original artwork  at the Museum of Military History in Vienna.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1504 pieces, 47 x 32). The pieces are in very good condition. The box is in very good condition, with a couple of small tape tears.

Schmidt published a 1000 piece version with the title The Battle of Kahlenberg.
