Ravensburger manufactured this puzzle in 1977, so it is probably the first puzzle version of this artwork. The original title of the painting by Jacques-Louis David is Napoleon Crossing the Alps. However, the name in the box is simply Napoleon Bonaparte.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1530 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear and a minor tape tear on a side.

In 1999 Ravensburger published a 1000 piece version of this puzzle.
