Description

This is a very rare puzzle by Egel. The title is The Seven Provinces, by Willem van de Velde the Elder. You can admire the original painting at the Rijksmuseum, in Amsterdam.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the photograph with the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in good condition, except for one broken piece, and some 3 or 4 pieces that are a little bent. The box is in very good condition, with some minor shelf wear.

Unfortunately, a previous owner wrote the title of the painting with a marker on the surface of the puzzle, as you can see in the photographs. Considering it is a very rare puzzle, we still offer it for sale, since someone else might still enjoy it.

Another puzzle in the same series by Egel is the 247 piece version of The Battle of the Sound with the Eendracht Engaging Two Swedish Warships, 1658.
