Ravensburger produced this puzzle in 1977, so it has been out of catalog for a long time. It still appears every now and then, but it is unusual to find it in this condition. It represents the famous painting The Night Watch, by Rembrandt van Rijn. You can admire the original artwork in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
The puzzle is NEW, with the original FACTORY SEAL.
It is a very challenging puzzle, since most of the tones are dark. However, it is a truly amazing challenge. Jumbo produced a very interesting 5000 piece version representing this puzzle with a photograph of real people posing as in the painting by Rembrandt. The title of that version is Night Watch Alive.
