This is a classic puzzle by Art Stones. Most people identify these two cherubs with Raphael and know the painting as Cherubini. However, they are just a fragment of the painting Sistine Madonna. You can know more about the artist here.

There are several puzzle versions of this puzzle. Ricordi published a 1500 piece version in 2004.
