Description

This is a very rare puzzle by Clementoni. The title on the box is Map – Amerigo Vespucci. It is actually a close-up fragment of the 1507 map Universalis Cosmographia, by Martin Waldseemüller. In that map the word America appeared for the first time to name the continent newly discovered by Christopher Columbus.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There are some minor scuffs on corners.

Schmidt published a 1000 piece puzzle with the complete map.
