This is an extraordinary puzzle by Falcon. The title on the box is Village Encounter, and they attribute it to Jacob Savery the Younger. The real title of the painting, however, is Fight in a Village, and the author is Roelandt Savery. You can admire the original painting at the Musée de la Chartreuse, in Douai, France.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1008 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear, and a bump on the base, as you can see in the photographs.
Trefl published a 3000 piece version of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, also by Roelandt Savery.
