This is a very interesting puzzle that Ferriot Cric manufactured for the Abbaye Saint-Benoît d’En Calcat. The title is Plein Champ (Detail), which translates as Full Field. The artist is Dom Robert, who was a benedictine monk who specialized in paintings for tapestries. He is considered one of the most prolific and admired cartoonists of the 20th century.

You can admire this artwork at the Dom Robert and the 20th Century Tapestries Museum, at Sorèze, France.
