This is a beautiful puzzle from the collection GeoHistoire au Coeur de la Mythologie, published jointly by Le Monde and GeoHistoire magazine. The title is The Marriage of Cupid and Psyche, by the Italian Renaissance painter Andrea Schiavone. The original painting is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York.

The puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

There are several puzzles with this theme. In 1997 Educa published a majestic 5000 piece puzzle with the mythological couple by Giulio Romano.
