Description

This is an extraordinary puzzle by Gibsons. The title is Lord Mayor’s Day, by Giovanni Antonio Canaletto. Commonly known as a painter of festive and ceremonial scenes of Venice, it is less known that Canaletto also painted views of London. This puzzle depicts one of his London works, showing many of the details that make Canaletto puzzles so popular.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the photograph of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in very good condition. The box is in very good condition as well, but it has a shop sticker on one of its sides.

Many puzzle brands produced puzzles with paintings by Canaletto. An example is the 1000 piece version of Saint John, which Ravensburger published in 1987. MB manufactured a 4000 piece version of Venice.
