This is a very rare puzzle by Hope. The title is The Numbering at Bethlehem, by Pieter Bruegel the Elder.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (999 pieces; 37 x 27). The pieces are in excellent condition. 4 pieces are cut in half, but they are the result of the manufacturing process, since they don’t have any damage. You can see it in the photographs. The box is in good condition, with wear, tape marks, and tape tears on the lid.

There are different puzzle versions of this painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. In 1981 MB published a 4000 piece edition that is the largest one as of 2023.
