1000, MB, Love in the Field, Josip Generalic

MB manufactured this rare puzzle in 1986, as part of their Special collection. The title on the box is Love in the Field, by the Croatian artist Josip Generalic. However, the real title of the artwork is Picnic by the River.

The puzzle is technically complete (1008 pieces), but it is really INCOMPLETE, because one the pieces is missing the top layer with the image, as you can see in the photographs. The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

There is an important school of naïve art in Croatia. MB published a 2000 piece version of Winter Bouquet, by Nada Svegovic, another Croatian naïve artist.
