Description

MB manufactured this rare puzzle in 1977, belonging to their Special series. The title is The Old World, by Daniel Derveaux. The artist used as a model a map by Melchior Tavernier from 1643.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1008 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear and a tear on a corner fixed with tape.

MB has published a lot of puzzles with ancient maps. Another example is the 1000 piece version of Europe in 1807, by Eustache-Hyacinthe Langlois.
