Description

Nathan manufactured this puzzle in 1972. The title is The Moneylender and his Wife, by Quentin Matsys. You can admire the original painting at the Louvre Museum, in Paris.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (1008 pieces). The pieces are in very good condition, with signs that the puzzle has been assembled before. 3 pieces have small scuffs, as you can see in the photographs. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

This painting appears on the artwork Alexander the Great visiting the Studio of Apelles, by Willem van Haecht.  You can distinguish it clearly on the bottom right corner.

Orli published a similar 1000 piece version of this puzzle.
