Description

Ravensburger manufactured this rare puzzle in 1993. It belongs to their Collection Exclusiv. The title in the box is Historical Map of the World. It is really a version of the Orbis Terrarum Descriptio Duobis Planis Hemisphaeriis Comprehesa, by Nicolaes van Geelkercken, who drew this map in 1617.

This puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

In 1997 Ravensburger published a 1500 piece version of Heart-Shaped Antique World Map, also belonging to their Collection Exclusiv. Both puzzles have pieces with a very original golden layer.
