Description

Ricordi manufactured this puzzle in 2006. The title in the box is simply Map of the World, and there is no reference to the cartographer. In fact, it appears as Anonymous. However, the real title of the map is Nova Totius Terrarum Orbis Tabula Amstelodami per I. Danckerts cum Privil. It was published around 1685 and the author was Justus Danckerts.

The map was actually a copy of an earlier one by Frederick the Wit. Clementoni published a 4000 piece Old Map by this cartographer.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There is a small tear in the seal.
