Description

Schmidt manufactured this beautiful puzzle probably in the late 70s or early 80’s, as part of their Fine Art series. The title on the box is Gallery, and The Gallery of Archduke Leopold in Brussels in full, by David Teniers the Younger.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the photograph of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in excellent condition, especially considering the puzzle is more than 40 years old. The box is in good condition, but it has tape tears on each side of the lid and it shows dirt on the base.

Several other manufacturers produced puzzle versions of gallery paintings by Teniers as well.  Examples include the 2000 piece version of Archduke Leopold William’s Gallery produced by Diset and the now rare 5000 piece Falcon version of The Archduke Leopold Wilhelm’s Studio.
