Description

This is an extraordinary map puzzle by Schmidt. The title on the box is simply World Map, but it is a fragment of the Universalis Cosmographia, or Waldseemüller Map, by Martin Waldseemüller. The map appeared in 1507 and it is the first map that uses the name America.

The puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.
