This is a very interesting puzzle by Vara Puzzel. There is no information on the box, but this is a school picture (or plate) that teachers used in schools for instructional purposes. There are several puzzles with some of these school plates by Cornelis Jetses. The title of this painting from 1935 is To the City. The publisher was J.B. Wolters; the authors were F. Evers, R. Kuitert, and I. van der Velde; and the illustrator was Johannes Gabrielse. The plate belongs to the series Van Kindertaal tot Moedertaal (From Child Language to Mother Tongue).

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL.
