MB manufactured this beautiful puzzle in 1974 in their Salon series, and it has been out of catalog for several decades now. The title is The Capture of Porto Bello, by the English marine painter George Chambers.

The puzzle is like NEW, with the pieces still SEALED in the original bag. The box is in fair condition, having a couple of tape marks and some shelf wear.

Several puzzle companies published puzzles of this painting. In 1981 MB also published a 3000 piece version of it. Ravensburger further published a 3000 piece puzzle version of another naval battle painting by Chambers: Bombardment of Algiers
