Nathan manufactured this puzzle in 1986. The title on the box is “The Rustican” – Working in the Fields. It appears in the book Ruralia Commoda, by Pietro de’ Crescenzi. The illuminator was the Master of the Geneva Boccaccio. This illustration is also known as the Crescenzi Calendar, or Monthly Calendar of Tasks. The original is stored at the Condé Museum, in Chantilly, France.
The puzzle is COMPLETE (1500 pieces), as you can see in the photograph of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in good condition, with a large depression on the lid.
