2000, MB, The Battle of Gibraltar, Wieringen

MB manufactured this rare puzzle in 1981, belonging to their Galerie series. The title is The Battle of Gibraltar, by Cornelis Claesz van Wieringen. The complete title of the painting is The Explosion of the Spanish Flagship during the Battle of Gibraltar, and it was formerly attributed to Hendrick Cornelisz Vroom, who is the artist that appears in the box as the author. You can admire the original painting at the Rijksmuseum, in Amsterdam.

This puzzle is COMPLETE (2028 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition. The box is in fair condition, with some shelf wear, and a large tear on the lid, as you can see in the photographs.

Jumbo published a similar 2000 piece version of this puzzle.
