Description

Waddingtons published this very rare and delightful puzzle in 1991. The title is The Ball on Shipboard, by the artist James Tissot. You can admire the original painting at the Tate Gallery, London.

Tissot became famous as a genre painter of fashionably dressed women shown in various scenes of everyday life.

The puzzle is like NEW, with all the pieces SEALED inside the original plastic bag. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear, and a very minor tear in a corner.

There is a similar 2000 piece version by Jumbo. Educa also published a similar 2000 piece edition in 1998 with the title The Ball Aboard Ship.
