Description

Nathan manufactured this beautiful puzzle in 1995 for their Grands Peintres collection, and it is now very hard to find. The title is The Fleet’s Arrival in the Islands, by the colonial painter Gustave Alaux. The real title of the original painting is Arrivée de l’Escadre de Grasse à Saint-Domingue, and it now belongs to The Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, in Madrid.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL.

Nathan produced more beautiful art puzzles for their Grands Peintres collection which are very rare by now. Another example is the 3000 piece version of Wedding Reception in Bermondsey, by  Joris Hoefnagel.
