Description

Ravensburger manufactured this iconic puzzle in 1977. Although the title in the box is Visit in the Art Gallery, the real title of the painting is The Gallery of Cornelis van der Geest, by the Baroque painter Willem van Haecht. You can admire the original painting at the Rubenshuis, in Antwerp.

This puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There is a big tear on a side of the seal and other of the bottom of the box, and some stains of the bottom, as you can see in the photographs.

There are several puzzle editions of this painting. An example is the 1000 piece version by Puzzelman. There are also some other puzzles with examples of this type of Baroque painting, like the 5000 piece version of Gallery of a Collector, by Frans Francken the Younger, which Ravensburger published in 1989.
