Description

Nathan manufactured this puzzle in 1979. The title on the box is Snowbound Railway, and there is no reference to the artist on the box. The original title of the artwork is American Railroad Scene, and it is a lithograph from 1871 by Currier & Ives.

The puzzle is COMPLETE (500 pieces). The pieces are in excellent condition, except for 1 piece with some damage, as you can see in the photograph. The box is in very good condition, with some shelf wear.

There are not many puzzles with lithographs by Currier & Ives. One example is the 308 piece version of Central Park in Winter – The Skating Pond, which Optimago published in 1990.
