Description

This is a beautiful small puzzle by Pomegranate. The title is Samurai, by Utagawa Kunisada. The original is a woodblock print after the epic Tale of the Eight Dog Heroes of Satomi. You can admire the artwork at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

The puzzle is COMPLETE, as you can see in the picture of the puzzle assembled. The pieces are somewhat larger than the usual Pomegranate pieces, as illustrated in the last photograph. Both the pieces and the box are in excellent condition.

The Japanese brand Yanoman published another example of a beautiful puzzle featuring traditional Ukiyo-e art, which is their 2014 piece version of The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō, by Utagawa Hiroshige.
