Description

Ravensburger manufactured this puzzle in 1977. The title is Ship in Distress, by Carl Friedrich Schulz.

At the beginning of the 19th century the first lifeboat services were organized to help ships in distress. The early lifeboat crews were made up of men who faced the fury of the storm in ill-equipped boats. Many of them lost their lives in their brave attempts to help ships in danger. Today the crews are highly trained and operate from ships fully equipped with the most modern technical and electronic devices to combat the dangers of the sea. This painting shows us what the men were up against in those early days.

The puzzle is NEW, with its original FACTORY SEAL. There are large tears in the seal and some wear on corners and edges.
